Vienna & Cam
Vienna & Cam’s day was a beautifully nostalgic celebration that blended vintage elegance with genuine, grounded love. It all started in Woodlands, where Cam was getting ready with his crew. Their pups were swimming in the pool, a glass of fine whiskey was poured and there was this calm energy in the air. Cam’s look was timeless - classic tailoring, subtle retro details, and a huge smile permanently on his face. He was about to marry the love of his life.
From there, I headed to Vienna’s AirBnB in Fremantle - a quaint space with the echoes of Matt Corby playing live nearby. Her details told the story: a silk gown with understated glamour, heirloom jewellery from her grandparents, and gorgeous veil laced with pearls. She, her bridesmaids and Mum got ready together, accessorised as they sipped champagne and teared up when the bouquets were delivered. The vision for the day was coming to life. She was about to marry the love of her life.
Guildhall was the perfect backdrop for their ceremony. With its historic walls and romantic charm, the venue held their story like it had been waiting for them. Guests gathered in the courtyard on a warm December afternoon, surrounded by the charm and gorgeous creeping vines. When Vienna made her entrance, the room held its breath. She glided down the aisle with an ease and confidence that felt straight out of a vintage reel.
After the ceremony, we wandered through the character-filled streets of Fremantle full of street art, rustic brick walls and the colourful facade that was Mojos - where the party would continue later that night! We laughed and celebrated with their bridesmaids and groomsmen until they went back to enjoy cocktail hour.
There, in the golden hour glow, it was just the two of them. Having a quiet moment together, amidst the whirlwind of joy, that felt completely untouched by time. Stolen glances. Looks of love. Sun glistening through her veil.
Once the sun dipped and the courtyard lights flicked on, the whole vibe shifted into full party mode. People were chatting, mingling, catching up over drinks - there was food being passed around, music filling the air, and just this buzz of celebration everywhere you looked. The courtyard felt alive. It wasn’t overly structured - it was relaxed, warm, and full of love.
Then the band started, and as soon as they kicked off, the dance floor slowly started filling. In between the speeches and cake cutting, the dance floor filled more and more. Just when we thought the energy couldn’t go any higher, the bride’s stepdad grabbed the mic - and absolutely lit it up. He brought the kind of unexpected, electric energy that got everyone going. People were hyping him up, singing along, dancing harder. It was one of those moments where you stop for a second, look around, and think: this is exactly what a wedding should feel like.
Just pure joy. Start to finish.
